“I was popular in school and just normal,” Slone Ryder admitted. We’re all at least a little competitive, but some girls just take it way too far. After that, others in my family got tattoos and piercings, too. I’ve always been kind of the charcoal sheep of my family who wore the short skirts and tight tops and got a tattoo and body piercings. I was in the Miss Kentucky pageant one year and have been in other, smaller ones, too. To be honest, it wasn’t until I got into adult entertainment that I started hearing negative or hateful comments. “I was the Homecoming Queen one year and I dated just one lad all through school. Some other girls will be jealous. I’ve been doing it long enough that I know how to handle it, and when I need to, I can put someone in their place. That doesn’t happen very often, though. So, no one ever said anything except compliments. But, when I did it, it was a scandal!”
